Pikelets & Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of self raising flour
  • 4 scoops S26 Toddler Gold
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (optional)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 2/3 cup water
  • oil for frying

Method

  1. Sift together all the dry ingredients
  2. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and add the egg and water. Mix to a smooth batter.
  3. Heat the pan and drop the mixture on a spoonfull at a time until bubble appear. Turn and cook the other side.

Variation: Add a cup of finely diced apple and a teaspoon of cinnamon to the mixture for a delicious taste difference.
